Talent Levels

Our mission at Gentlemen’s Cut is to provide top level service experience, meet and exceed expectations, every guest, every time. In order to accommodate a variety of guests and budgets, Gentlemen’s Cut service providers vary in terms of advanced training and years of experience. Our level system allows Gentlemen’s Cut to provide a career path of growth and acknowledge the achievements of our team members. We have implemented this system to help you choose a service provider that is right for you.

Please note that as a service provider advances, you will see a small increase in the cost of their services. This is reflective of the investment that they have made in their professional development. Gentlemen’s Cut prides itself on continued education, which makes us a leader in our industry. All of our team members are committed to delivering the highest level of service for every guest, every time.

Gentlemen's Cut is a team-based salon, which means our service providers are not working for commision on product and service sales. Our service providers are always working together to make your experience the best that it can possibly be. Our team will only recommend services and products that are backed with educational training, and we will never push you into a sale. We compensate our team with hourly pay, benefits, and more; when people are taken care of and free of worry, they have the space to adequately take care of others - exceeding your expectations every time. We encourage you to see multiple service providers to ensure you find the best fit for your needs. If your favorite service provider is unavailable, we will do our best to accommodate your needs with our team of excellent industry professionals.

Associate $25/$30/$50

This level is for service providers who are new to the industry and Gentlemen’s Cut. During this training period, Associates are assisting and learning from higher level stylists in order to advance their skills, improve speed, and learn specific Gentlemen’s Cut techniques. After completing all required in-house training and meeting specific goals, serviceproviders are prepared to advance to the floor while at this level. Associates will continue to sharpen their skills and receive advanced training. Our guests will receive an upscale service experience and their haircut will be checked by a higher level service provider upon completion of the service to ensure quality.

Artisan $30/$35/$55

This level is for service providers who have experience in the industry or have advanced through our Associate program. Artisan Stylists are carefully selected for their technical skills and professionalism. Artisan Level service providers have successfully completed various training and have met all required goals needed to advance to this level. At this level you can expect upscale service at affordable prices, while stylists continue to work on achieving their goals.

Craftsman $35/$40/$60

These well-educated and experienced professionals typically have 2 or more years of experience. Craftsman stylists have met Gentlemen’s Cut requirements for specific, advanced classes, and have demonstrated their expertise and proficiency. Their commitment to ongoing education keeps them at the forefront of new techniques and trends.

Master Craftsman $40/$45/$65

A Master Craftsman is a service provider with exceptional skill at their craft. With years of experience, extensive training, and many hours behind the salon chair, they are truly the best-of-the-best. Many of these professionals are active educators in our salon, bringing their expertise to hairdressers at every level of the industry. Select one of our Master Craftsman, and you will receive an artfully designed look, professionally customized for you.

Senior Craftsman $45/$50/$70

A Senior Craftsman has years of experience, extensive training, and many hours behind the salon chair, they are truly the best-of-the-best. Many of these professionals are active educators in our salon, bringing their expertise to hairdressers at every level of the industry.

Salon Director / Owner $50/$55/$75

Along with the Master Craftsman skill set, the Salon Director holds a leadership position within Gentlemen’s Cut and are accountable for our continued and advanced education for the entire company. A Salon Director takes on a strong commitment to better the Gentlemen’s Cut team as well as service their guests at a high standard.
